We support organisations, individuals and communities to address inequality and embrace diversity, provide advice and practical guidance to the sector and ensure that ED&I has a high profile. We provide training and mentoring for staff, boards and customers; run practitioner groups on equalities; undertake document review and award our Diversity Network Accreditation (DNA).

The mentoring programme helped me to develop effective communication skills as Connor acted as a role model and displayed desired behaviours in which I have adapted into role and everyday life. The programme aided me in developing my confidence, becoming more assertive to challenging complex situations and expanded my professional network.

I'm a lot more confident in my ability as a Board Member now, than I was 18 months ago when I was starting this journey. I think a massive part of that was the mentoring I had as part of the programme. My mentor was a 'rock' throughout the whole process and we still meet up, beyond the HDN programme. They've been great at helping me - by discussing issues and working through things together - they've been amazing. My Strengthscope feedback was really good and there is so much content in the programme. Overall, I've taken a lot out of the Board Excellence Programme.
