We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Technical Surveyor in the Investment Team on a fixed term 12 month contract. The successful candidate should have the skills and experience to deliver high quality, cost effective major improvement works to our customers.

About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and positive thinking Technical Surveyor, to assist the Planned Investment Contracts Manager in delivering customer focussed investment and cyclical projects with external contractors, through pre works inspections and surveys, all on site monitoring, recording of monthly KPI’s, ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are adhered too on site, along with inspections and reporting of high quality, cost effective projects.

About you
Customer satisfaction is at the forefront of what we aim to deliver and the enthusiastic individual should have excellent customer service skills with direct Karbon customers, external contractors and other key stakeholders.

They will need to act as a positive member of the Property Service Investment team, collaborating with other colleagues across departments and supporting a culture that delivers results and service excellence, and promotes the Karbon values and brand.

The location of the role will vary from year to year, as will the nature of the works and property type, with Karbon having a vast portfolio of stock, across a large geographically area. As such travel will be an essential part of the role.

  • Technical Surveyor – 12 Months Fixed Term
  • Salary is £38,520 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,260 per annum
  • Location: Byker
  • Regular travel will be required
  • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
