Job Description
Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Housing Officer

We are looking to appoint three suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of Supported Housing Officer in the Supported Housing Team.

About the role
To support the development and delivery of effective and high-quality housing services to supported housing customers.

At Karbon we build, manage, and look after homes for people across the North.  And then we go further, we give them the strong foundations they need to crack on with life.  We want to build better lives for our customers, not just better homes. Everything we do is for their security, health, and happiness under their own roofs, in their communities and out there in the wider world.

Since our formation in 2017, we’ve been focused on delivering on our three strategic aims - to provide as many good quality homes as we can; to deliver excellent service to our customers; and to shape strong, sustainable places for our communities.

As a Supported Housing Officer at Karbon Homes you will provide an excellent housing and estate management service to our customers and communities.  This opportunity will empower you to make a difference to people’s lives.

You will develop and maintain effective working relationships with other internal teams such as specialist housing, community investment, community engagement, money matters, KPS and development.

About you
You’ll wow us with your enthusiasm and demonstrate that you have the ability, attitude, and interpersonal skills to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues and support the work of Karbon in our communities.

It goes without saying that you will have good organisation, time management and ICT skills. But most importantly you will be great with people.

About our team
The successful candidate will work in our Supported Housing team led by Mark Pears and Elayne Bristow Supported Housing Team Managers. If you require further information about the role, please contact Mark Pears on 07507790600 or Elayne Bristow on 07930 842176.
