At MSV Housing we’re committed to making sure our customers have good quality safe homes, and our Void Works Administrators are key to making this happen.

We are looking to recruit a highly organized and customer-focused Voids Administrator to join our Property Care team.   Reporting to our Area Manager – Repairs, our Void Works Administrators provide administrative support, ensure excellent customer service, and manage void administration data effectively. This role involves coordinating with residents, clients, and contractors to deliver a first-class voids service.

What do our Void Works Administrators do;

  • Administrative Support: To provide administrative, clerical and data systems support to Property Care, including managing records and ensuring monthly updates.
  • Customer Service: Deliver high-quality customer service to residents, clients, and stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Void Administration: Assist in managing void works, coordinating inspections, and arranging meetings.
  • Data Management: Support the development and updating of designated data systems like Orchard Assets, Orchard Projects, and MRI.
  • Financial Management: Order and authorize work/purchases within agreed expenditure levels and manage invoices for payment.
  • Satisfaction Surveys: Conduct telephone and online satisfaction surveys, addressing any dissatisfaction or complaints.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Team Support: Attend meetings, produce notes, and provide cover for administrative functions as needed.

    What we are looking for;

  • Qualifications: Good standard of general education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above, including English and Maths.

  • Experience:
  • Experience in responding to customer queries and complaints.
  • Background in a busy administrative role.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering to deadlines.

  • Skills:
  • High levels of IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective problem-solving and proactive work approach.
  • Collaborative and supportive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Personal Characteristics:
  • Passionate about advocating for people and communities.
  • Friendly and approachable with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and flexible.
