What we’re looking for from you to join our team
We are looking for someone to join the finance team, as we move forwards into 2025, for a newly created Senior Finance Business Partner role. This individual will have the skills or experience to partner with the Homes Team, this means oversight of repairs, assets, compliance and all things relating to the maintenance of our homes. The role holder will be an engaging leader, able to guide and support those in in their team but also to be a confident finance expert, guiding those in non-finance roles.
The overall purpose of the Senior Finance Business Partner role is to provide proactive financial support and advice to budget holders based on a sound understanding of the relevant business area (Homes; repairs, assets, compliance). The support and advice provided should underpin good business decisions by those using the financial information provided. The role holder will also be expected to guide decision making for the members of the Finance Business Partnering Team reporting into them for their business area and co-ordinate inputs into the overall Plus Dane financial position.
The post is key to the relationship with budget holders, acting as the conduit between the Finance team and operational areas of the business.
The Finance Business Partnering team are also expected to work closely with other areas of the finance and procurement team including Financial Operations and Treasury (cash governance and planning), Financial Accounting (audit and statutory/regulatory reporting) and procurement, in addition to supporting their non-finance budget holders and stakeholders.
