Role: Procurement Apprentice
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £18,528 per annum in year 1, increasing to £18,694 in year 2
Contract: 2 years
Location: Mariner House – Dartford/Working from Home

We’re on the lookout for a Procurement Apprentice to join our Procurement team here at Moat!

You will be providing administrative support and assistance to the wider Procurement team, enabling them to deliver an efficient and effective service.

You will also complete a relevant qualification and functional skills in English and Maths as required.

Your role will include: 

• Supporting the team with day-to-day administration, including e-filing.


• Helping to process new supplier requests and maintain the verified supplier list.


• Assisting with key supplier administration including emails, letters and updating systems.


• Helping maintain procurement guidance documents and information.


• Ensuring that all customers receive a high level of service, responding to customer queries within agreed timescales and targets where appropriate.


• Undertaking projects on an ad-hoc basis, producing reports and working to agreed deadlines.


• Completing a Level 3 Procurement and Supply Assistant qualification.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Maths and English GCSE grade C+ or 4+ or equivalent.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively with others.


• A can-do attitude.


• Awareness of the key principles of customer service.
