Job Description

Our Board are keen to ensure that MHA isn’t just a provider of homes but a place-shaper landlord in the neighbourhoods where we operate. We want to invest in neighbourhoods and people so that MHA can make a real difference towards addressing the housing needs and deprivation which exist for BME communities.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strategic experience in one or more of the following areas:

Meeting commitments: three / four evening Board meetings per annum and two Strategic Planning days per annum. All Board members must sit on a minimum of one of our four Committees that meet approximately four times per year.

Meeting location: Board Meetings are held face to face at our Bradford City Centre office with an option to attend online by exception. Committee meetings are held online.

Board member benefits: Subscription to a professional membership of your choice, paid expenses and tickets to events that will benefit both you and MHA, free in-house training to upskill areas of your interest, individual biennial appraisal led by the Chair of Board.
