What is this session?
This session is an interactive workshop for Boards about the their role and the impact it has in driving diversity and inclusion within the organisation.
Who runs the workshop?
The workshop facilitators are Mushtaq Khan, the CEO of HDN, and Sharon Thandi/Gemma Bell from Devonshires.
Why take this workshop?
Boards play a pivotal role in setting the tone and guiding the strategic direction of an organisation when it comes to EDI. This session explores the Board role and responsibility in relation to EDI and how it can strengthen its commitment to EDI through better governance.

The workshop can be run online or in-person.

The Drivers for Change
The challenges that EDI can bring to a workplace
Implications and imperatives as a Housing Association – regulatory and governance expectations
Good contemporary practise for Boards and Leadership team
EDI considerations and decision making
Utilising governance frameworks to embed a positive EDI culture
